early Penn reel 250 yard No. 15 with interesting free spool feature
Penn No. 15 reel circa 1939-1941 with metal spool
, wooden knob handle and hershey button clicker.  Stand is stamped 250 yd.  Free spool is selected by pulling out the handle, (free spool position shown in pic 5). Side plates have no cracks, metal shows some oxidation. Reel has been lubed, smooth free spool, strong clicker, and is ready to catch more fish or go into collection.
