Vintage 4 Way Bevel Gauge or Possible Elipsograph. Antique.
I got this from a prolific collector who passed away and I wasn’t able to get the story on this. It’s a mystery. This is how I got it originally which is a four way bevel gauge. This is maybe how it was originally but I can’t find another example on the internet. Another possibility is the bevel gauge doesn’t belong there and originally it was an elipsograph for marking perfect oval shapes. I don’t know.
