This auction is for a Rare Vintage 1950’s Drink Royal Crown Cola ‘Best By Taste Test’ Cooler Lid. I have also seen these hung on the wall as a Sign. Condition is "Used" as you can see from the photos. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This old cooler lid just pops with color. It is in decent shape compared to some of the others that I have seen. This one definitely has some ware, especially on the right side letters. You can see where the red has been worn off to yellow and clear down to the metal. The good news is that I don’t see any spots that have started to rust significantly. There are definitely scratches and scrapes on all sides of this.
I tried to include pictures from all sides. You can see that the rubber handle is missing a big chunk. I also showed that the I hinged area has broken screws and discoloration.
It measures about 22 inches wide and 11 inches tall.
