    This is a lot of 40 items signed by various historic aviation notables, including:
    * 3 signed first day of issue cancellation envelopes from the Kill Devil Hills, N.C. post office on the 44th anniversary of Wrights 1st flight (1947) by Igor Sikorsky, pioneer of helicopter and fixed wing aircraft, and J Algot Johnson(?). 2 unopened, 1 opened. Program for event inside.
    * 5 signed first day of issue cancellation envelopes from the Kill Devil Hills post office on the 42nd anniversary of Wrights 1st flight (1945), 2 are signed by Medal of Honor recipient and aviation pioneer Gen. Jimmy Doolittle, the other 3 are signed by Doolittle as well as 4 other participants of the Doolittle Raid in Japan: co-pilot Lt. L. N. Youngblood, navigator of lead bomber Col. Henry A Potter, pilot and POW Capt. Charles Ross Greening, and Gunner Col. Joseph W Manske.
    * 1 signed first day of issue cancellation envelope from the Kill Devil Hills post office on the 46th anniversary of Wrights 1st flight (1949) by General Henry “Hap” Arnold, commanding general of the army air forces, “Father of the Air Force”.
