HO Scale Roadside Motel (Bates Motel) Kit

One HO-Scale Roadside Motel “Bates Motel” Kit.
PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION FULLY!
This hotel is loosely modeled after the “Bates Motel” used in the movie “Psycho”.
We also offer a Victorian Mansion that resembles the house on the hill from the same movie.
The two kits work well together.
You can find the house in our eBay store along with all our other offerings.
Real-world footprint of the building is 15 3/4 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches front to back.   THIS IS A KIT – NOT AN ASSEMBLED BUILDING.
You will be shipped the parts shown in the last picture (along with the illustrated instructions and 3D printed pieces).  The pictures of the building shown here illustrate what the kit looks like after assembly.
The main building parts are made from 1/16" and 1/32” material called Task Board from a company called Blick Art Supplies.
It is a highly compressed and structurally accurate cardboard material that works exceptionally well in the laser cutter.
The siding is engraved.
Rather than simple lines in the material, it is angled to be as realistic as possible.
It paints well, and you can paint your model whatever color you want.
Finally, there are parts which are made on an Ender-3 3D printer to include the air conditioning units, the newspaper stands, and the ice machine.
Once again, this is a KIT.
The pieces are unassembled and are not painted.  This kit is a step above everything else I’ve produced to date.
Even so, the Motel is not that difficult to assemble.
I’ve included a few extra parts in case any break while you are handling them.
This kit will take you some time to put it together depending on your skill level – likely several days.
The effort is worth it!
If you follow the detailed illustrated instructions, you’ll have a great addition to your HO Layout!!!
Although not included, you can wire the Motel for lighting.
There are many openings for an LEDs in the exterior walls above the doors and in the office.
The kit provides a printed sheet of curtains containing more than are needed.
