Fox Creek Natural's Juniperus Virginiana cedar oil. Nothing is added and nothing is subtracted from this steam distilled oil. It comes straight from a distillery in North East Texas on the western edge of the Eastern Red Cedar belt of the USA. Proper color and scent is maintained by using stainless steel throughout the distillation process. Freshly prepared cedarwood is placed in a vessel lined with stainless steel. Steam and condensate from that vessel travel through a condenser, separator, and connecting pipes all made of stainless steel. To further maximize quality, freshly extracted oil is stored in lined barrels under inert gas until packaged for shipment. No fossil fuels are used to produce the steam that extracts this oil. Spent cedarwood is reused as fuel in a low emission suspension type burner for producing steam. This essential oil can be used for many purposes including aromatherapy, soap and candle making, cedarwood restoration, creating scents, and natural pest repellent.
