New hammer forged from c45 steel with tempered face and ball peen approximately 2 lbs. 15" overall length with a securely mounted hickory handle.
0902-900. Ball peen is approximately 11/16" radius. Hammer face us flat with slight a beveled edge.
Plus new flat and round jaw tongs.
The tongs are 12" in overall length.
4700-300 flat jaw and 4800-300 round jaw tongs also made in Germany by Picard.
The round face of the hammer can be used as s fuller by landing blows with the heel or toe or either side. The face can be used as a flatter.
This set allows a user to experience blacksmithing for s minimal cost while providing the greatest range of workability.
