4 SWAN CRYSTAL SALTS.
CIRCA 1930's-1940's.
VERY NICE SET
EACH MEASURES 2" TALL BY 3" LONG X 1 1/2" WIDE.
THIS CAME FROM THE ESTATE OF FEMALE AVIATOR JIMMIE KOLP AND HER BROTHER BRUCE HUDSON.
JIMMIE KOLP (1904-1970) WAS THE 1ST FEMALE PILOT IN WICHITA FALLS, 2ND FEMALE PILOT IN THE STATE OF TEXAS, 37TH IN THE US.
SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE NINETY NINES WOMEN'S FLYING GROUP.
BRUCE HUDSON WAS INVOLVED IN THE BIG BAND SCENE AND MOVIES IN HOLLYWOOD, CA.
I purchased a large collection of crystal items from their family estate a few years ago.
