ALBERT BODEMER 925 Silver Double Crystal Open Salt Cellar Dip

Description

This is a beautiful double crystal open salt or salt cellar in the form of a swan with sterling silver wings and neck.  The wings pivot out from the side of the swan to reveal the double salt.  This piece measures about 2-3/4 inches tall.  It is marked on the side of the neck with "STERLING SILVER" and the letters "AB" in a circle.  We believe the "AB" stands for Albert Bodemer.  It is also marked on the base of one of the wings with "925/1000" and "Germany".  The piece has some light tarnish on the silver but is otherwise in excellent condition.  Please see photographs for details.
