    Description

Here we have a vintage print/lithograph from the National Air and Space Museum, of the Lockheed Vega 5B flown by Amelia Earhart, part of the Smithsonian Institution's Aviation Relic Series. Attatched to the print is an original three-color swatch piece of actual plane fabric taken from the Lockheed Vega 5B, the plane used for Amelia Earhart's flight, in which she became the first woman to fly a non-stop solo transatlantic flight, in 1932. These pieces of original plane fabric were taken from the plane after the Museum decided to restore the plane, since it was deteriorating. A very real piece of aviation history right here.  Measures about 20" x 15 inches. Looks to be in good condition, suitable for framing. Please look over the photos to know what you are getting. Don't hesitate to ask questions.
