    Description

    This auction is for a full original box of premium quality rare unused 1943 vintage try squares, marked: HENRY DISSTON & SONS - PHILAD'A U.S.A. - No.1 - and marked on the box: DISSTON TRY SQUARES - 1/2 DOZ. - No. 1 - 8 INCH - HENRY DISSTON & SONS INC. - PHILADLPHIA, U.S.A. - and also there is a rubber stamped date on the inside top of the box in red ink: AUG. 16, 1943 - These 6 squares each have 8 inch blued blades, carbon steel hardware trim, 5 have R0sewood handles, 1 has a Walnut handle, they have never been used and are in excellent, mint condition with paper between each one packed in the original box, also in excellent condition. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. Each square measures 8" by 5 5/8" and the total weight in the box  is 2 lbs. 11 oz.
