From Henry Woodhouse Archive, 1917 letter to Henry Woodhouse from Long Island real estate speculator, Harold Abrahall, about choosing a site for an Aviation Field between New York and Philadelphia.
The purpose of the airfields would be to, "teach the young men of both Cities the science of flying." (New York and Philadelphia)
At the end of the letter he tells Woodhouse that he has paid the 10 dollars to see the Aero Show, presumably in Long Island, probably Mineola.
Interesting early aviation piece worthy of preservation that demonstrates how people were thinking about aviation and trying to set up airfields, etc.

. Henry Woodhouse was a significant figure in early aviation and helped to found the Aero Club of America; he was an early advocate for the use of the aeroplane and was the publisher of such 1910's magazines as
Flying
and
Aerial Age
